Competition Time with KidsBookClub!

So anyone who knows me knows how much I love to read so it should come as no surprise that I would love to foster the same love for books in my children that my parents did in me whilst growing up.

Unfortunately I have found that at the end of the month there usually isn’t much as far as extra cash is concerned to purchase any  books and although we have quite a substantial collection of kid’s books at home, they have either fallen to pieces from over use and grubby toddler hands or the kids have read them a million times, this means that we end up having to make weekly library trips in order to get new books for the kids to read and although I absolutely love the library and taking the kids, there is often times when the kids develop a strong attachment to a certain book and then unfortunately we have to return them.

So you can only imagine my glee and excitement when I found KidsBookClub…

KidsBookClub is a monthly subscription service which supplies your child with 2 new books selected according to your child’s gender and age, the subscription service also comes with 3-4 magazines aimed at mum and dad free of charge and a monthly themed book bag great for carrying all your child’s books around in so everyone gets to join in on the fun.

All this is delivered to your door for the monthly price of R145, how awesome is that! Additional children can also be added for a discounted additional fee and they cover all book types from touch and feel for babies and toddlers through to activity and reading books for older children.

The pricing is as follows:

One child- R145
Two children- R244
Three children- R333

Am I the only one who thinks this is fabulous, No? Well then good because KidsBookClub has graciously offered a month’s free subscription to one of my lucky readers!

  9. I would absolutely love to win this for my daughter because i remember my first book club, i remember the excitement of receiving my new books and having them read to me.... books provide so much for children and my daughter deserves that. She also absolutely LOVEs stories, she loves looking at all the beautiful pictures while we read and shes so bright she always gets the questions right at the end which shows me how engrossed she gets in the stories. I also find reading time is an excellent bonding tool... when i look back on my childhood i am always reminded how my dad used to read to me each night changing his voice to suit each character, it is one of my best memoeries and i know it wouldnt have been there wihtut books. I really owe much of my education to books and my early start so i want to provide that for my child. Would love to win this for my little 6 year old book worm :)
