I am a pro vax mom its no secret and its one of the things I am quite vocal about.
Loghan and Gabriel have every single vaccine including the private ones, Jesse has had all of them bar the chicken pox vaccine because guess what it has been out of stock for the better part of the past year or so, you would think the government would correct this but considering it is not a required vaccination by government standards nothing much has been done about it.
But chicken pox isn't bad right, it cant kill you right????
Well my pro vaccination beliefs have officially been ingrained into me now since I picked up Jesse on Wednesday only to find he had pimple like spots over his neck, tummy and back, as the last 2 days have worn on my baby has vomited and pooped all over himself every 20 minutes or so, he has run 38.9 degree temps, the spots have multiplied by the hour and he has not only been miserable but he has been in an incredible amount of pain, he is SUFFERING!!!!
I cannot for the life of me understand why someone especially a mom would be fine with not preventing this illness or any of the childhood illnesses in general, I'm sorry if there are people who think that it is ok and not a big deal but watching my child suffer like this for days and knowing it could have been prevented and that other children could also go through this it makes me sick to my stomach!!!!!
For anyone who says a vaccinated child can get it to, yes I agree Gabriel got chicken pox last year and it was so mild he hardly had a fever or spots at all he was happy and fine as if he didn't even have it there was a very BIG difference, argh chicken pox parties seriously the idea makes me want to scream, feel so terrible for my poor monkey, if my words are not enough see pictures below,
First sight, not bad |
one or two spots not bad at all |
Within a few hours it spread, his face swelled... |
Only a few hours after the first pic, by this time he was throwing up EVERYWHERE |
A picture speaks a thousand words but going through this, I just cannot fathom I just cant.....ita in his mouth, on his head, between his toes... head to foot and my poor baby is in so much discomfort and pain... I just can't.
